ISO13485 certification for medical devices

Intelligent Ultrasound Group plc (AIM: MED) the ultrasound artificial intelligence (AI) software and simulation company, announces it has formally received ISO13485:2016 certification for its Quality Management System following review by the certification body LRQA. ISO13485:2016 is the internationally recognised quality standard to ensure the consistent design, development, production, installation and sale of medical devices that are safe for their intended purposes.


Director/PDMR shareholding

Intelligent Ultrasound Group plc (AIM: MED), the ultrasound artificial intelligence (AI) software and simulation company, announces the following director share transactions. The Company announces that Ian Whittaker, a Person Discharging Managerial Responsibilities of the Company ("PDMR"), transferred 374,982 Ordinary Shares in the Company for nil consideration on the 4th March 2020 to a nominee account of which he is the beneficial owner. Following this transaction, Ian Whittaker’s interest and that of his persons closely associated in Ordinary Shares remains unchanged at 374,982 Ordinary Shares of 1p representing 0.17% of the total issued share capital of the Company.

Minister visit

Intelligent Ultrasound Group plc (AIM: MED) announces that the Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster, The Rt Hon Michael Gove MP and the Secretary of State for Wales, The Rt Hon Simon Hart MP, visited the Group’s head office to experience first hand the advances that the Group’s Clinical Artificial Intelligence Division has made with its real-time AI image guidance software, AnatomyGuide.

Trading update

Intelligent Ultrasound Group plc (AIM: MED), the ultrasound artificial intelligence (AI) software and simulation company, announces that Group revenue for the year to 31 December 2019, which is currently generated entirely by the Group’s Simulation Division, is expected to grow by around 10% from the £5.3m achieved in 2018 to between £5.7m and £5.9m. The Group is pleased that the Division continued to show year on year growth and the important agreement signed with FUJIFILM SonoSite Inc. in the second half of the year, will help increase future sales in the Division’s point-of-care ultrasound (POCUS) training market...


Directorate changes

Intelligent Ultrasound Group (AIM: MED), the intelligent ultrasound software and simulation company, is pleased to announce that Helen Jones is to be appointed as Group Finance Director and member of the Board of Directors effective from 1 January 2020. Ms. Jones will replace Wilson Jennings who has decided to retire from full-time employment in the New Year and will therefore be stepping down from the Board of the Company at that time.


Update on contingent liability

Intelligent Ultrasound enters into an agreement with Fujifilm Sonosite, Inc. to develop clinician training

Intelligent Ultrasound Group (AIM: MED), the intelligent ultrasound software and simulation company, announces that FUJIFILM SonoSite, Inc., specialists in developing cutting-edge, point-of-care ultrasound solutions, and part of the greater Fujifilm Healthcare portfolio, has entered into an agreement with the Group allowing the companies to deliver a training solution to the point-of-care ultrasound (POCUS) market. The agreement includes Intelligent Ultrasound Group’s BodyWorks Eve POCUS training solution and the HeartWorks transthoracic echocardiography (TTE) and transesophageal echocardiography (TEE) simulator training platforms that can be used to accelerate training for all Fujifilm SonoSite’s POCUS systems.
