Medaphor Group plc: AGM statement

At the Annual General Meeting (the “AGM”) to be held at 10.30 a.m. today of MedaPhor Group plc (AIM:MED), the global provider of advanced ultrasound skills training simulators for medical professionals,  the Chairman, Riccardo Pigliucci, will make the following statement:

“The Board is pleased to confirm that the Group is currently trading in line with Board expectations.

So far in the current year the Group has expanded the ScanTrainer radiology module range, increasing the number of patient cases by over 30% and allowing customers to assess students with a wider range of clinically relevant pathologies. ScanTrainer has also been translated into five additional languages (French, German, Spanish, Chinese Mandarin and Japanese).  ScanTrainer is now available in six of the world’s most widely spoken languages and the addition of the new languages opens up the opportunity to extend ScanTrainer’s reach to customers in some of the largest European and Asian markets. This continual innovation is expected to have a positive effect on the sales of the Group moving forward.

The year-on-year growth in sales achieved to date and the current visibility of potential orders give the Board confidence in the Group’s prospects for the remainder of this year and beyond.”
