COVID-19 ultrasound patient cases released for ScanTrainer Cloud customers who have a current cloud access subscription

COVID-19 ultrasound patient cases released for ScanTrainer Cloud customers who have a current cloud access subscription.

To help in the fight against COVID-19, we are pleased to announce that we have made the COVID-19 patient cases from our BodyWorks Eve PoCUS simulator available, free of charge to our customers, in the ScanTrainer Cloud Case Library. This means that our global ScanTrainer Cloud customers will be able to use these cases for training in their institutions.

Lung ultrasound has major utility for the management of respiratory related COVID-19 infection due to its safety, repeatability, absence of radiation, low cost and point of care use. It is also relatively easy to disinfect compared to alternative imaging modalities. We hope that making these patient cases available to our ScanTrainer Cloud community will help with the training of healthcare professionals working in the front line of this global emergency.

ScanTrainer systems with an active Cloud subscription and running the latest version of the software (v2017x) will receive these cases automatically. All you will need to do is leave the system online overnight with the dongle inserted and it will update. Please note that the cases will appear in the library today but without the overnight update they will not run successfully.

If you do not currently have a Cloud subscription or would like to know more about the ScanTrainer or BodyWorks ultrasound training platforms, please email hello@intelligentultrasound.com or your local representative.
