Automated Image Analysis
for protocol-based scanning

In July 2019, the Intelligent Ultrasound signed its first long-term licence and co-development agreement for its ScanNav Assist AI software with GE Healthcare, one of the world’s leading ultrasound scanner manufacturers.

The long-term agreement will see the integration of the ScanNav Assist real-time image analysis software onto a new range of GE ultrasound scanners for Women’s Health. The first of these systems, the Voluson SWIFT* ultrasound system, was launched on 29 September 2020 and will be the first GE ultrasound system to feature the new SonoLyst software.

I have worked in the field of AI in ultrasound for over ten years, yet I am still amazed at the level of accuracy that has been achieved. You can really see how Intelligent Ultrasound’s AI technology, incorporated in the SonoLyst software, will improve efficiency, make the learning of ultrasound easier and reduce omissions and errors. It’s a big advance for ultrasound imaging in women’s health
